Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Merge Bloom Island processes information when you play the game. The game is published by Akman Games Studio.
1. Age assurance and younger users
On first launch, the game asks for a date of birth. It calculates an age group on the device and stores only a coarse result (under 18 or adult) together with a verification timestamp. It does not store the entered date of birth.
For players identified as under 18:
- Google Mobile Ads requests are marked as child-directed and under the age of consent, and the maximum ad content rating is set to General audiences.
- Personalized advertising is not requested.
- Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, and cloud backup are disabled.
- The age check may be shown again periodically so the privacy setting remains current.
Merge Bloom Island is intended for players aged 13 and older. If a parent or guardian believes a younger child has provided information, they can contact us using the details below.
2. Information processed
Local game data
Progress, settings, language, rewards, missions, virtual currency, booster inventory, and similar gameplay data are stored on the device so the game can operate.
Advertising
The game uses Google AdMob for rewarded and interstitial ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically processes data such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Depending on age, location, consent, and device settings, ads may be non-personalized or limited.
Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform provides choices to consent, refuse consent, and manage advertising privacy options. Refusing consent does not block the core game.
Optional usage analytics for adults
Google Analytics for Firebase is disabled by default. An adult player may explicitly enable Usage Analytics in Settings. If enabled, it may process app instance identifiers, device and operating system information, app version, language, approximate region, screens viewed, session activity, gameplay events, level attempts and completions, scores, booster usage, rewards, missions, and advertising interactions. The choice can be withdrawn in Settings.
Optional crash reporting for adults
Firebase Crashlytics is disabled by default and follows the adult player's Usage Analytics choice. When enabled, it may process crash logs, stack traces, app state, diagnostics, device model, operating system, app version, and installation identifiers to diagnose technical problems.
Optional cloud backup for adults
Cloud backup is disabled by default and is available only to adult players. If enabled, Firebase Authentication creates a random anonymous user identifier and Cloud Firestore stores a copy of gameplay progress and synchronization metadata. The game does not request a name, email address, password, or visible sign-in.
Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity may process app, device, and integrity signals to protect cloud-save requests from fraud and abuse.
3. Purposes
- Operate, maintain, and secure the game.
- Save progress locally and, when an adult enables it, back up progress to the cloud.
- Show and measure rewarded and interstitial ads.
- Prevent advertising fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Measure gameplay and diagnose crashes when an adult explicitly enables Usage Analytics.
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Sharing and sale
Akman Games Studio does not sell personal information for money. Information may be processed by Google and its service providers through AdMob, the User Messaging Platform, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase App Check, and Google Play Integrity for the purposes described above. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.
5. Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until the app data is cleared, progress is reset, or the game is uninstalled. Adult players who enabled cloud backup can use Settings > Delete Cloud Data to delete the current cloud save and anonymous Firebase account. Cloud backup is then turned off.
Advertising, analytics, diagnostics, authentication, integrity, and cloud service providers retain data according to their own policies and legal obligations. Detailed deletion instructions are available on the Data Deletion page.
6. User choices and rights
Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. Advertising privacy choices, Usage Analytics, and cloud backup can be managed in the game's Settings where available.
7. Security and international transfers
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used. Cloud saves are protected with anonymous authentication, App Check, and user-specific Firestore rules. Google services may process information in countries other than the user's country under applicable legal safeguards.
